Paintcode 224

Postby Sunny76 » Fri May 26, 2006 2:33 pm

224: This is the paintcode on my 120Y, its yellow/green. I wondering if this color is sold in other coutries as much as in Holland.
I think 1 of 4 12 120Y had this color.

224 was never offered on 120Y's in the UK from the info I have. As far as I can tell the B210 was the only model to come in that colour too.

Yes, i saw it on the new club website, only the 120Y in this color. Remarkable that this color was never sold in the UK, its a real seventies color and my favorite together with turqoise and orange.

Ed, thinking of this did you ever manage to load and do anything with the CSV Nissan UK file? Would be interesting to sort that by colour to see what were most common or rare combinations.

Maybe I'll have a bash with it as rebuilt PC a bit more able to handle this stuff. Anyone out there a whizz with Access who can guide me on this? (That seems to be the best programme to deal with a CSV file containing 1.9-million entries)

No, couldn't open it with my Access (2000). It would open in Excel but only the first few thousand entries.

Can somebody please tell me what the colorcode is from the green car in the advertisements? I am thinking to respray my white 2 door in this color in the future. I know this color was available in Holland.
There was one on a scrapyard on top of a orange 120Y with a sticker "The incredible Hulk" back in 1986 or 1987.
I think this colorcode must be 22* Like the 224/225/227 yellow/turqoise/orange

940 was a green used on B210's so it's quite likely.

Edit: I thought I didn't have a colour chip but it looks like i do..just got to find it!

Have a look at mine in Turquoise. It quite suits the car.

Still not sure witch colour i should paint my white 120Y. 940 green or 225 turqoise. Has anybody some pictures from a 120Y in 940 green? I only know the color in memory and a few pictures from brochures.

Greetings.
